GetSet

Collect Canberra's real-world things by visiting them

What Is GetSet?

GetSet is a personal hobby iOS app for exploring and collecting Canberra's real-world geographic items. Visit a place, check in, and earn badges as your collection grows.

What Can You Collect?

Bunker Bus Shelters

Canberra's iconic 1970s concrete round shelters, designed by Clem Cummings, scattered across the city.

Trig Stations

Canberra and Bush ACT trigonometric survey points, historical markers from Australia's mapping heritage.

Classic Canberra

Architecture, landmarks, and heritage sites that define Canberra's unique character.

Embassies & Post Boxes

Diplomatic and everyday infrastructure scattered throughout the nation's capital.

How It Works

🎤

Siri Shortcut

Ask Siri to check you in to a set, hands-free, and GetSet verifies you are within range.

🔘

Manual Check-In

Open the app, tap the check-in button when you're at an item.

🏅

Earn Badges

Unlock badges as you reach collection milestones and complete sets.

Privacy First

GetSet collects nothing without your consent. Your visits stay on your device. Location is used on your device to verify you're at a place and is never tracked. If you choose to send a data-correction report, it can include your position at the time; the server stores it without your IP address, and with your name only if you opt in for credit.

Coming Soon to TestFlight

GetSet is in beta testing. Join the TestFlight program to help shape the app before public launch.

Collection Sets

Each collection is distributed as a .gtst file — a portable, shareable package of items, badges, and metadata. Swap collections on the fly or install multiple sets and track your progress on each one separately.
